Future of food: French food and childhood development

Can food have a more meaningful impact?

A combination of French food, the education system and how food affects our thoughts, feelings and development.

We used Dr Natasha Cambels-McBride’s book, Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPs) to ground our conversation as we could have taken this topic in many directions.

Dom comes from the world of teaching, having spent 14 years teaching, working in different schools.  Whilst Oisín has come from the world of professional cooking having grown up in Ireland and having trained in France as a professional chef.

We were both inspired to have this talk after we both read GAPs from Dr Natasha Cambels-McBride’s book and wanted to share our thoughts and experiences.

This will be the first conversation of many as we both have a lot to say about the current education system and the current food system but also the combination of the two.
